The Patrol
A five man team has been out on patrol for an hour.
Winding their way through the bush they finally come to a relatively open section in the woods.
Looking forward to making up lost time they pick up the pace , unfortunately this cause's them to miss an enemy position off in the wood.
A three man security team have made a quick LP from downed trees and brush and are watching our guys walk into their kill zone.
When they feel the time is right they open up.
Though they have advantage of surprise they have allowed the team to get too far into the box and most of their fire is ineffective.
Only the teams rear security man is hit, but he's hit hard.
As he Falls he calls for the medic.
His medic starts for him as the rest of the team reacts and attacks back..
they lay on fire as the medic runs to his downed buddy.
Once he reaches him a the medic does a fast triage to see what has to be done first.
It's a severe chest wound.
The medic quickly starts to treat him.
First he must find the bleeder and clamp it then pack the wound for transport.
a shot of painkiller to help keep him calm.
Now an I.V. to keep him stable.
M3antime the rest of team is taking care of business.
The return fire is taking it's toll.
The last tango standing.
Then he to falls.
The team cautiously moves in to clear the area.
The resistance is over.
The Team lead check the enemy.
He's covered by his men, just in case.
It's over, now they turn attention to the downed team member.
The medic is packing up to move.
The team gather and pick up their fallen buddy , and start out to get him to a medivac.
